Fall Leaves Curb Pick Up Starting Nov. 19th
In case the “Yard Waste” dumpster bins get full with leaves this time of year, the St. Louis City Refuse Division is offering curb side pick-up for your fall leaves starting November 19, 2008!

While many neighborhoods have street leaf pick-up (where you rake your leaves into the street and the City drives by and vacuums them up), in Ward 25, you need to call the refuse Division at 353-8877 (no earlier than 8am) to give them your home address a few days before you want the City to come by and pick up your leaves from the curb. Leaves must be in a brown bag or a plastic bag to be picked up. Pick-up days are usually on Wednesday, so it is best to call the Refuse division on Monday or Tuesday to get on their schedule.
